Starting from 2009, MU has been organizing the national Olympiad in the country every year according to the rules of the International Student Programming Olympiad. This Olympiad is held according to the following rules in 3 categories: country, continent and world.

Student team Olympiad, the team consists of 3 students and 1 coach. 3 students will participate in the competition.
During the 5-hour competition, the teams will complete the task of writing 10 policy programs. During this period, the teams will compete for the number of correct solutions and the duration of their thinking.
Thoughts will be filtered by an automatic system.
3 team members work on 1 computer.

This time, the 10th National Student Programming Olympiad was held on April 19-23 at the National University of Science and Technology in honor of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Electronic Computing Machine Laboratory at the National University of Science and Technology. The results conference of the Olympiad was held on April 23, 2018 in the Round Hall of MU.
